Retail Competency Centre (RCC)
RWE IT UK are currently working on Atlas – a large scale SAP business transformation project. Atlas is RWE IT UK’s largest project, spanning over four years, and involving hundreds of colleagues and partners from the UK, Germany, India and the Czech Republic.
When Atlas goes live in 2011, our Retail Competency Centre will be responsible for maintaining and developing our new SAP technology, meaning that the Competency Centre will be a critical business function.
We are in the process of establishing the Competency Centre, which will be based in Leeds and will:
• Be responsible for the provision and performance of BAU technical applications and services
• Deliver small change requests
• Adopt continuous improvement methods
• Provide a ‘centre of excellence’ business function with expert business and technical knowledge.
SAP is very well established throughout the rest of our pan-European Group and this will mean opportunities for pan-European working as we utilise their SAP knowledge and experience.
